Linholm Corporation designed and published the first-ever “pregnancy calendar” in 1987. That year, Lutheran Medical Center in Wheat Ridge, CO became the first hospital to use the calendar as a patient education tool. In 1990, Linholm entered the retail market with the world's largest gift company, Russ Berrie and Company, Inc., and introduced The Pregnancy Calendar® followed by Baby's First Year, The Pregnancy Planner, and My Wedding Planner.
Over 2 million copies of The Pregnancy Calendar® have been sold in the US, Canada, UK, Hong Kong, and Australia. The calendar has been translated into Spanish, German, and Hebrew. It has been widely endorsed and distributed by hospitals, private practices, and large organizations such as the United Way, US Air Force, Baylor Health Care System, Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, New York State Dept. of Health, CIGNA, and ViaCord Cord Blood Banking.
